Mason Rhoades (120), Carter Bays (145), Ayden Mundy (160), Ethan Manns (170) and Noah Eikenbary (195) all qualify to wrestle at the Div. II District Tournament in Norwalk on March 2nd-3rd. The team scored 107.0 points at the Clyde Sectional Tournament to place 6th in the team race. The host of the tournament, Clyde HS, placed 1st in the team race with 180.5 points.
Eikenbary placed 1st at 195 with wins over DeAnda of Toledo Central Catholic by fall (3:54) and a decision over Fausnaugh of Bowling Green (5-0).
Rhoades takes runner-up at 120 with wins over JT Pickens of Bowling Green (9-2) and top seed Cresencio Soto of Toledo Central Catholic by fall (0:44) in early rounds. Loss in the finals to James Batesole of Clyde by tech fall (19-2).
Bays placed 2nd at 145 with a win over Mason Elson of Port Clinton by fall (5:25), but lost in the finals vs Jacob Anderson of Columbian by fall (0:33).
Mundy at 160 and Manns at 170 also qualified by placing 4th at the sectional tournament.
